Run hot water for the first time

In the first operation, hot water should be gradually injected into the geothermal heat for the first time. When the hot water is supplied, the main loop valve of the water distributor water supply should be opened first, and the temperature of the hot water should be gradually increased and injected into the pipeline to circulate. Check whether the manifold interface is abnormal, and gradually open the branch valves of the manifold. If there is leakage in the water separator and pipeline, the main water supply valve should be closed in time and the developer or geothermal company should be contacted in time.

First run exhaust method

In the first operation of geothermal energy, air locks are easily generated due to pressure and water resistance in the pipelines, resulting in non-circulation of the supply and return water and unequal temperatures, and exhaust should be carried out one by one. As shown in the figure below, the method is: close the total return valve of heating and each loop adjustment, first open a regulating valve on the manifold, and then open the exhaust valve on the manifold's backwater bar to discharge water and exhaust. After the air is cleaned, close this valve and open the next valve at the same time. By analogy, after each air is drained, the valve is opened, and the system is officially running.

Clean the filter if the outlet pipe is not hot

A filter is installed in front of each water separator. When there are too many magazines in the water, the filter should be cleaned in time. When there are too many magazines in the filter, the water outlet pipe will not be hot, the floor heating will not be hot, etc., and the filter should usually be cleaned once a year. The method is: close all the valves on the water separator, use an adjustable wrench to open the filter end cap counterclockwise, take out the filter for cleaning, and put it back in the original after cleaning. Open the valve and the geothermal system can work normally. If the indoor temperature is lower than 1°C without heating in winter, it is recommended that the user should drain the water in the geothermal coil to prevent freezing and cracking of the pipe.

Release all the water after heating

After the annual heating period of geothermal heat is over, all the filtered pipe water in the geothermal network should be discharged. Because the boiler pipe water contains a lot of tiny particles such as slime, magazines, rust and slag, the water quality is turbid, and the inner diameter of the geothermal pipe network is very small, and the precipitation of calcium, magnesium, salt and other substances contained in the water will generate hard scale and coat the geothermal heat. On the inner wall of the pipe network, the bends are more serious, and they cannot be washed away even by pressurized water flow. This is also the reason why the floor heating needs to be cleaned.
